Cherry tomatoes are versatile and even come in different colors—with red, orange, yellow, and purple varieties, for example. Sweet and tangy, Cherry tomatoes can be cooked, grilled, sauced, and dried, or and even just popped in your mouth to eat as a raw snack. The question always comes up about what is the difference between Cherry tomatoes and Grape tomatoes. While both small, Cherry tomatoes are nearly perfectly round. Grape tomatoes are smaller and more oblong in shape. Typically, Cherry tomatoes are twice the size of Grape tomatoes and are great for skewers and kabobs. Grape tomatoes are just too small for skewers (they’ll fall apart).
