Deep-Dish Chocolate Chip Pie
I was caught red-handed eating this for breakfast the other day. You may find yourself doing the same! The deep-dish chocolate cookie deliciousness paired with vanilla bean ice cream and topped with walnuts and chocolate chips will stare you in the eye until the last crumb has been consumed, no matter the time of day.

- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, plus extra for serving
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
- 1 cup walnuts, plus extra for serving, chopped
- Vanilla bean ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the eggs on high speed until light and foamy. Add the flour and both sugars and beat until combined. Add the butter and beat until completely mixed. Mix in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pie crust and top with the walnuts.
- Bake for 1 Let cool slightly.
- Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate chips, and walnuts

- If you’re allergic to nuts, omit them; it will taste just as delicious!
