A good bartender is like gold at any party or celebration. But unless you’re hiring a catering crew, you’re probably going to be making your own drinks. I’ll let you in on a secret, though. As long as you have a few good recipes up your sleeve, your guests will be happy as can be. Here’s another secret: those drinks don’t need to be complicated. I present to you the Champagne Cranberry Cocktail as proof.
From birthdays to holidays to graduations, a little bubbly is just the thing for some merriment. And if you want to try something a little different, this cranberry-infused champagne concoction adds a perfect bubbly pop to your night.
What I love about this is Champagne Cranberry Cocktail is how simple it is. Yet, it’s a perfect combination of flavor. There are only three ingredients: cranberries, sugar, and champagne. In fact, you’ll do most of the prep ahead of time, which is just making the cranberry simple syrup.
When party time rolls around, all you need to do is pour the champagne and add a shot of the cranberry simple syrup to it. It’s about as easy as you could ask for. And the flavors are divine. The slightly sweet and tart simple syrup contrasts nicely with the citrus fruit notes of the champagne.
If you’re feeling fancy, you might even drop a couple of fresh cranberries in the glass.
I’ll leave you with a word of warning, though. Your friends are going to ask you for the recipe. Do you want to tell them how simple the drink is? Or do you want them to thing you’re a genius bartender? Better to consider your answer now than wait until you’re on the spot!
