Red Clapp’s Favorite Pear

The Red Clapp’s Favorite pear tree is as productive as it is beautiful. In late summer, the trees produce a heavy crop of large, golden yellow pears with a bit of a red blush. The fruit is soft, juicy, and sweet. Red Clapp’s Favorite pears are great for eating, canning, and preserves. They can be stored for up to three months. Like other European pears, the Red Clapp’s Favorite needs a pollination buddy such as Moonglow or Bosc.
