Deep Purple Scallions

Not all scallions are green and white. Some, like the Deep Purple scallion, develop a shank rich with a reddish purple. You can sow their seeds in the spring or summer. This variety can overwinter if the soil is well drained, and it’s less likely to bolt than some other varieties.
