As the name suggests, this sweet corn variety is a work of art. The Picasso Hybrid (SU) features deep purple stalks, green and purple striped husks, and tassels and husks in shades of pink. These hues contrast beautifully with the corn cob in shades of yellow and white. But Picasso sweet corn isn’t all show—it also offers a complex sweet and slightly nutty flavor. This edible ornamental will decorate your garden into the fall.

Characteristics:

  • Ears grow to 8 inches on 7-foot stalks
  • Brings unique color to the garden
  • Matures in 75 days
  • Thrives in full sun and loamy soil
  • Best roasted, baked, or boiled

Have you grown Picasso Hybrid corn? If so, tell us your top tips for ensuring a delicious harvest.
