Avalanche peas

As the name suggests, Avalanche pea plants yield mountains of peas. This compact plant has few leaves, directing its energy into producing deep green pea pods that are easy to find and pick. Avalanche peas have a pretty shape and they generate more tendrils than most pea plants. The tendrils look pretty on a plate as garnish—and they’re edible! Avalanche pea plants grow to 30 to 36 inches and are resistant to powdery mildew and fusarium wilt.
