Simple Cherry Juice

This simple cherry juice recipe is perfect for an on-the-go pick up.

There’s something spectacular about a simple, delicious, and healthy juice. A cold glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice can clear your head, boost your spirits, and give your body a shot of nutrition when you really need it. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that these juices are pretty darn delightful to drink just for pleasure.

This simple cherry juice recipe is certainly hits all those categories. There isn’t a lot to it – just cherries and water, but that’s the secret. Delicious, fresh cherries will give you a wonderful, rich, deep flavor. And since there are different varieties of cherries, you could even have different “flavors” of cherry juice all from the same simple recipe.

Why make cherry juice when you can buy it at a reasonable price? A lot of juices you buy at the store are pasteurized to make them shelf-stable. So even when the ingredients list is short, there’s still no competing with something fresh you make at home. Plus, there’s a lot of fun to be had picking your own cherries, whether that’s from a tree in your yard or at a local orchard. Of course, even if you don’t pick your own, fresh cherries from the market are simply magical.

Incidentally, you don’t need to make this and save it strictly for a solo drink. Cherry juice is a wonderful ingredient in other drinks, too, like a sparkling cherry lemonade with freshly squeezed lemons, or something more suited for your cocktail shaker. Of course, you can’t go wrong with a cherry cheesecake, either!

In other words, there are plenty of good reasons to make a simple cherry juice like this one.
