Spice Island Rosemary

Spice Island rosemary is a favorite culinary cultivar, though it has a very pungent flavor so it should be used in moderation. Its flavor is clean and citrusy. Spice Island is an upright grower that reaches 4 feet tall, and is easy to train into a specific shape if you’re interested in topiary as well as seasoning.

Spice Island has the usual rosemary blue flower and fragrant evergreen leaves. It is excellent for use as stem skewers for the barbecue. It also has long spaces between the leaves, making it easy to harvest the leaves for cooking or drying.

When a breeze blows, you’ll be able to smell Spice Island from far away.
