Lemon Cucumbers

Lemon cucumbers are named for how they look, not how they taste. These round cucumbers actually have a clean, crisp taste that is never bitter. You can eat them like an apple, slice them into salads, or even grill them and drizzle with oil. They mature in 65 days and produce a large yield of 3- to 4-inch balls for a long time. Though often planted as a novelty in the garden, their sweet and mild taste makes Lemon cucumbers very popular.
