The Cheddar Hybrid is an early orange variety that matures in about 60 to 70 days. It has smooth, uniform heads that contain nutritious beta-carotene and deepen in color when cooked. This one does not need to be blanched if you want rich color.
This variety is good for a container, reaching a height of about 24 inches.
Characteristics:
- Has 4- to 7-inch heads
- Flavor is mild and sweet, creamier than white varieties
- Contains more vitamin A than white cauliflower
