Harvesting a radish is about as easy as it gets. Simply pull straight up!

You’ll know your radishes are ready when they have begun to peek up above the soil line, but the best way to know is to pick one and try it!

For winter radishes, which take double the time from seed to harvest as spring radishes, just make sure you harvest before the first frost.

If your radishes begin to flower, they have bolted. You can leave them in the ground and enjoy the flowers. They may even re-seed in the same season, leaving you with a new disorganized crop later on or even next spring!
