
Yukon Gold Potatoes
This popular variety of potato has smooth thin skin, shallow eyes and buttery yellow flesh. It was first introduced into the market in 1980 as a cross between North American white potatoes and the yellow-fleshed South American potatoes. Yukon Gold potatoes are highly versatile in the kitchen and can be stored in a cool dark environment for 2 to 3 months.
