Some days call for a meal that’s simple, satisfying, and quick to pull together—something you can enjoy at the kitchen counter or tuck into a lunch bag for later. That’s where a good wrap really shines. With crisp romaine, juicy tomato, creamy provolone, and tender slices of turkey all tucked into a soft tortilla, it’s a fresh and flavorful option that feels both light and filling.

Of course, anyone who has ever made a wrap knows they can be a little fussy. The biggest culprit is usually the sauce. Too much spread inside the tortilla can quickly lead to soggy layers and a wrap that refuses to stay neatly rolled. Instead of letting the condiments sabotage your lunch, this recipe keeps things clever by serving the sauce on the side.

A creamy sriracha dipping sauce delivers just the right amount of heat and tang, letting you dunk each bite exactly the way you like it. The wrap stays crisp and intact, and the flavors stay bright from the first bite to the last. It’s a simple trick that turns an everyday turkey wrap into a lunch that’s easy to pack, easy to share, and perfect for picnics, quick lunches, or relaxed afternoons when you want something fresh and delicious without a lot of fuss.

If you’ve made a wrap, you know that it can be a bit fussy to put together — and keep together. One of the downfalls is the condiments: they tend to make the wraps soggy and cause them to fall apart. To remedy this, we keep the sauce on the outside in dip form! By making the sriracha dipping sauce separate, your wrap will stay together in time for your picnic lunch.

Ingredients

  • Dipping Sauce
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
    • 1 teaspoon lime juice
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Wrap
    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 1 large wrap or tortilla
    • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
    • Romaine lettuce
    • 2 slices provolone cheese
    • 3 slices turkey

Instructions

1. For the dipping sauce: Stir all the ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
2. For the wrap: Spread the mustard and mayonnaise on the wrap. Top with the tomato, lettuce, cheese, and turkey. Roll the wrap tightly and slice in half or into 1-inch rounds. Serve with the dipping sauce.
