Ring of Fire Sunflower

Ring of Fire Sunflower

Ring of Fire has stunning bi-colored petals that flare outward from red to yellow. This branching variety will produce several blooms per stalk. Ring of Fire is an All-America Selections (AAS) winner. Also known as Comb Flower Ring of Fire, Golden Flower of Peru Ring of Fire, and St. Bartholomew’s Star Ring of Fire.

  • full sun

Soil pH:

  • 6.0 to 6.8

Hardiness zones:

  • 1 to 10

Spacing:

  • 8 to 12 inches

Moisture:

  • 1 inch per week

Notes:

  • direct sow
  • grows to a height of 5 feet
  • attracts pollinators
  • can use as cut flowers
