This classic herb is loved for its robust flavor and versatility. With its aromatic leaves and ability to thrive in various conditions, it’s a staple in herb gardens worldwide. Perfect for culinary creations, it adds both flavor and charm to any garden, making it a must-have herb.

Sun exposure:

  • Full sun to partial sun

Soil pH:

  • 6.0 to 7.0

Hardiness zones:

  • USDA zones 5 to 9

Spacing:

  • Plant oregano seedlings 12 to 18 inches apart in rows that are 18 to 24 inches apart.

Moisture:

  • Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil is dry.

Notes:

  • Common oregano is a hardy herb that thrives in full sun.
  • It can be sowed multiple times throughout the season for a continuous harvest.
