Slobolt lettuce has been a garden standard since 1946. Nobody likes it when their lettuce bolts, and this variety is extremely slow-bolting. It produces loose, ruffly, sweet green leaves. You can harvest it all summer if you want, one leaf at a time. Leaves are never bitter.
