Shallots can be very expensive to buy in stores, but it’s easy to grow them at home! These shallots are full of rich, sweet flavor that will be a great complement to many of your dishes. In northern areas, plant them in the spring for a fall harvest; in the south, plant in the fall for a late winter/early spring harvest. These shallots can store for about six months.
