A cup of raw green beans contains just 31 calories and zero fat, but it’s packed with vitamins and minerals. Did you know that a serving of green beans contains about 25% of your daily recommended value of vitamin C? And 36% of your daily value of vitamin K? Green beans are also full of beneficial antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals that contribute to heart health, gut health, and healthy pregnancies. Green beans also contain healthy amounts of dietary fiber and protein making them a food that can help you lose or maintain weight.
