The Red Sensation Bartlett pear is a brilliant red-skinned variant of the classic Bartlett pear. In early fall, prepare for a heavy crop of medium to large, thin-skinned, yellow pears that shift to dark red as they ripen. The fruit is smooth, juicy, tender, and sweet. Red Sensation Bartlett pears are great for eating, canning, and preserves. The Red Sensation Bartlett needs a pollination buddy such as Moonglow or Orient. This cultivar is susceptible to fire blight.
