You’ll discover all of the beet flavor with none of the red staining, when you choose white Avalanche beets. The 2015 AAAS Vegetable Award Winner offers rich, sweet flavor without the earthy notes of typical beets. Easy to grow, Avalanche beets are resistant to leaf spot and can survive a light frost. Best when baked with a little oil and salt.
