Jing Orange Okra

Jing Orange Okra
While 90 percent of okra is green, Jing Orange okra produces pods with a lovely orange/red color. An heirloom, open-pollinated variety developed in Asia, Jing Orange produces an abundant crop of brightly colored pods that will retain their tenderness all the way up to 6 inches long—although they’re still best when you pick them at 3 to 4 inches. The plant can grow to 5 or 6 feet in height, and has a reputation for being particularly drought tolerant. Direct seed or transplant.
