Alexa Huber: Since childhood, Alexa Huber has helped with her family’s ever-expanding garden in Central Illinois. Although she has harvested various crops, her favorite things to pick are tame blackberries and cherry tomatoes.

Murr Brewster: Murr Brewster is a retired mail carrier and writer from Portland, Oregon, where she’s never without a machete during blackberry season.

Jane Beal: California-based Jane is a professor of English literature and has written poetry and recorded poetry with music. Her creative nonfiction includes biographies of women writers and articles on the history and practice of midwifery.

Catherine Hamrick: Catherine Hamrick is copywriter for a liberal arts college in northwest Georgia. She previously held editorial positions at Better Homes and Gardens, Cooking Light, Southern Accents, and Meredith Books. She’s also a published poet.

Allyson Ernst: A master gardener from Harrison, OH: “I work in a children’s garden weeding, watering and being goofy. I’ve played the part of a mad scientist, a cricket, and even an opossum.” Her work appeared in GreenPrints Issue 131.

Gary Carter: Port Orford, Oregon’s Gary has been in the nursery business for more than 40 years. He’s also written poetry, and two novels! His work appeared in GreenPrints Issues 112, 120, and 126.
