Thank you for honoring Becky Rupp. I was the illustrator for over half of the stories featured here in this collection, plus the “Cover.” I always learned so much from what she wrote–sometimes it was difficult to find the right imagery but I was glad to accept the challenge. I particularly loved her story about the squirrel Tommy Tucker. I was impressed that you folks added color to some of my drawings–that wasn’t an option (except for the covers) when I worked for GP. They look great! A suggestion :why not do a similar feature on long time writers like Diana Wells and Mike McGrath? I think folks would enjoy those too.. I’d like to see this collection made into a print version besides only online… Thank you for your innovative ideas…Blanche Derby, Northampton MA
Blanche, thank you so much for your feedback and your work with us for all of these years. Your drawings are amazing and we are so glad that you are enjoying the colorized versions. We are indeed hard at work on additional collections that will be published later this year and in 2025! We are also hard at work on printable versions of this collection. Have a great day!
