Stacey Hirvela is the Marketing Manager and Horticulturist for Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs. Stacey is a lifelong gardener who loves sharing her passion for plants in writing, videos, and on air. Her very sunny, very sandy garden is in USDA zone 6, and she grows vegetables, herbs, native plants, and almost anything that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Her biggest gardening challenge is deer - though this means she can't grow many of her favorite plants, it has been an interesting learning experience, which ultimately is the best part of gardening!
