Denise is the former greenhouse grower and horticulturist for Allegheny County Parks in Pittsburgh, Pa. A graduate of Carlow University, she always wanted to be writer but loved playing with plants, from flowers to vegetables to trees and shrubs. She is the author of "Eat Your Roses", an edible flower cookbook with growing tips and recipes. She has also written the "Ask the Expert" column for the Pennsylvania Gardener magazine.
