Simple Meatball Sandwiches

Simple Meatball Sandwiches

Whether you make meatballs from scratch or buy a pack of frozen meatballs, these sandwiches are a quick and easy way to complete a backyard cookout. Pro tip: add cheese to the buns before adding the meatballs — the cheese melts and helps to hold in the sauce!

Instructions

  1. Make the Barbecue Meatballs recipe. Take the block of provolone cheese and use a cheese grater to shred until you have about 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Toast the hoagie rolls.
  2. Spoon the meatballs on the bottom half of the hoagie roll and top with a sprinkling of shredded cheese and the top half of the bun. Serve.
