Oven Fries: Regular or Sweet Potato

It’s so easy to make your own oven fries. This recipe works with your favorite potato, or sweet potatoes—or both! Once you try this recipe for oven fries, you’ll never go back to the store-bought kind again!

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Scrub and rinse your potatoes. Leave the skin on.
  3. Dry potatoes.
  4. Cut potatoes into long strips, 1/4 X 1/2 inch wide.
  5. In a large bowl, mix your spices and oil.
  6. Add your potato strips to the bowl and toss until they’re thoroughly coated.
  7. Spread potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or coated with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Turn fries over and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, until the fries are tender.
