Brussels Sprouts with Honey Balsamic Glaze

The hardest part of making this dish is keeping the fork out of the skillet! The sweet, honey-rich glaze is a delicious partner to your tender, tasty sprouts. Don’t expect any leftovers of these Brussels Sprouts with Honey Balsamic Glaze!

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet and add the oil.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts, cut side down.
  3. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until the sprouts are golden on the bottom.
  4. Add 1 cup of water and cover skillet.
  5. Let the Brussels sprouts steam until they’re tender, about 3 minutes. Add more water a tablespoon at a time if the skillet seems dry.
  6. Take sprouts out of the skillet and set aside.
  7. Put vinegar, honey, mustard, and garlic in a bowl. Whisk to combine.
  8. Add the mixture to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook until it’s syrupy, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  9. Return the Brussels sprouts to the skillet. Toss to coat and reheat, about 3 minutes.
  10. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
