Brownie Layer
- 1 (18.3-ounce) package brownie mix
Caramel Layer
- 1 cup store-bought bourbon caramel sauce
Cookie Dough Layer
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

For the brownie layer: Bake the brownie mix in an 8-inch square baking dish according to the package directions.
For the caramel layer: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave the caramel sauce for 10 to 15 seconds. Pour the caramel over the brownie base. Refrigerate while you prepare the cookie dough base.
For the cookie dough layer: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light. Mix in the vanilla and cream. Add the ﬂour and sea salt and mix well. Stir in the dark chocolate chips and semisweet chocolate chips.
When the caramel layer on the brownie base has ﬁrmed up, about 5 minutes, carefully spread the cookie dough evenly over the caramel layer.
For the chocolate glaze: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and cream. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. Microwave for 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted.
Spread the melted chocolate over the cookie dough layer. Let it set, then cut it into bars to serve.
